Independent Living Supervisor - Prime Shift
Position Available: Independent Living Supervisor - Prime Shift
We are seeking a full-time Independent Living Dorm Supervisor who is reliable, compassionate, has an honorable work ethic, and loves to work with youth! The ILS plans, organizes, and supervises assigned shifts.
Prime Shift: Monday through Friday 3:00pm-12:00am
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide supervision, training, assessments, and leadership for assigned staff
- Screen, Interview, and select candidates for hire
- Participate in Student Behavior Management Panels
- Complete all documentation requirements for center information systems and folders
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Coordinate and collaborate with Recreation and other Staff to provide ongoing student events
- Meet with Counselors, Instructors, and Student Human Resource Officers to discuss student performance and progress
- Plan, organize, and control the use of overtime and on-call staff to ensure compliance with center and ETR policies and procedures

Skills/Competencies:
- Basic understanding of management practices; proven ability to lead and support a team
- Working knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of disadvantaged youth
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to meet frequent deadlines and handle stressful, hectic situations without loss of efficiency and composure
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required. One year of experience working with youth and in a supervisory capacity. Compensation is based on experience.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
