2023 - Labor Law Update - Spring
Topics will include legal and legislative updates including the Warehouse Worker’s Act, the New York Salary Disclosure Law, New York Lawful Absences Law, changes to the Anti-Discrimination Law, Amendments to the Labor Law regarding Digital Labor Law Posters and Veteran’s Benefits Posters, and more. Review of the Federal Trade Commission’s proposed regulations prohibiting non-compete agreements, New York’s new proposed Anti-Harassment Policy, and the NLRB’s recent decision finding that non-disclosure and non-disparagement clauses in severance agreements violate the National Labor Relations Act. Guidance from the Department of Labor on FMLA and Wage and Hour issues for remote workers. HRCI/SHRM credit available.
