About Us

Family Planning of South Central New York's mission is to provide individuals in our region with information, education and health care services pertaining to human sexuality and reproductive health in a private and confidential manner, respectful of all beliefs, supporting individual freedom of choice and responsibility.We provide high-quality, affordable gynecological and reproductive medical services such as lifesaving cancer screenings, birth control, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing, HIV testing, and annual exams. We have a breadth of experience serving low income, uninsured and underinsured individuals, and over 70% of our patients have incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. We accept Medicaid and most forms of health insurance, and all of our services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on each patient's income. Most importantly, we never turn any patient away due to inability to pay.
