He hails from the hospitality industry\, where he spent over 20 years overseeing a major Catskill\, NY resort\, managing 300 employees and a multi-million-dollar budget. As well\, he possesses a background in government service as the former Sullivan County Clerk\, a member of the Fallsburg Town Council and as a trustee of the Fallsburg Central School District. Furthermore\, Mr. Gilberg was on the Board of Directors for C.A.S.A (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children).\n\nMr. Gilberg was subsequently appointed by the Governor to serve as the Business Ambassador/Advocate for Business at the NYS Workers' Compensation Board. In this capacity\, he reports to the Chair and addresses employers' concerns\, regarding the New York State Workers' Compensation system and the development of policies as resolution to those concerns.
